Where it all began...I started at Raindrop about 8 years ago as a jr. account manager. At the time, we had about 14 people on staff - no creative team, one videographer, one part-time producer. My first two accounts were a debt counseling non-profit out of riverside and a small natural soap company that was doing about 3 million a year in revenue. Jack, Dr. Squatch’s founder asked us to create a video in the vein of Dollar Shave Club. He wanted something he could scale on Youtube and to break out of the perception that they were just soap for people with sensitive skin…Jacques (our ceo), James Schrader (the blonde guy), and I wrote the script, a small crew drove up to Pine Valley in a mini-van, and the rest was history…
The OG Squatch Video
We went on to write and produce dozens of highly scalable, highly successful ads for Squatch, including our first National Super Bowl spot, product launches, and collaborations with Star Wars, DC, Marvel, Halo, Justin Herbert…all of which helped the brand grow and eventually sell to Unilever.
